A L O H A, I'm Dana!

I was lucky enough to have been born and raised on the island of O'ahu in the beautiful state of Hawai'i. Growing up in Hawai'i meant climbing mountains, surfing waves, and getting really really tan 365 days a year. I absolutely loved it and I'm not sure there's a better place to spend your youth. My pride for Hawai'i spills over into pretty much everything. In fact, I'd consider my style to reflect the rich warm colors of our world-famous sunsets, while still incorporating soft, creamy, bright sunkissed layers from the natural light we get.

While I loved growing up in Hawai'i, my heart always called for adventure bigger than that <600 square-mile little island. College was my opportunity to experience something new. So, I packed my bags and called California "home" for the next four years. Within those action-packed four years, I gained a Bachelors's degree in Kinesiology & Nutrition Sciences and a boyfriend I now call my HUSBAND! That's right, I somehow landed the greatest man I've ever met, my college sweetheart.

Well, this super-smart guy of mine graduated college early and enlisted in the US Army. This brings me to my current state of residence, North Carolina. He's a part of a unit that resides here at Fort Bragg, NC. We have been here close to 8 years now. While I miss home, North Carolina will always have a special place in my heart. This is where we adopted our pup Drogon, bought our first dream home, got pregnant, and had two of the most amazing identical twin boys the world has ever known. Life changes when you love two little humans more than life itself. They are 100% our reason for EVERYTHING.

Being a stay-at-home mom not only allowed me to never miss a beat in my babies' lives, but it also allowed me to pursue my passions. In the past year, I was able to get my Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences and rekindle my love of photography. You can say I'm a bit of an artsy nerd. I've always loved photography and being able to spend my days doing just that, while watching my babies grow has been a dream come true. With that said, I hope to capture your dreams coming true as adventurous as they may be!
